The Good Earth: New Paintings by Ray Knaub
October 8th - October 30th, 2021
The Good Earth is an exhibition of new work by Ray Knaub. A native of Scottsbluff and a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, Knaub reflects his German/Russian heritage and growing up next to the North Platte River and the Oregon Trail in western Nebraska. Exhibiting widely for the past 25 years, he has built a reputation as one of the foremost Neo-Regionalists through extensive one man and invitational exhibits. His work is held in many private and public collections throughout the world. The show runs from October 8th through October 30th, 2021.
“The harmony of light and space combined with a reverence for the land-these are the elements which describe my paintings. Based on actual places, they are not exact renderings of place and time, but instead reflect a deeper interpretation, and a personal, emotional experience of the moment.” - Ray Knaub
Friday, October 8th, 5-8pm
