Fatties: Joe Broghammer
September 11th through October 5th, 2021
Fatties is an exhibition of new work by Joe Broghammer. Like pages from a written diary, Broghammer uses birds to tell the story of life events. His drawings and paintings tell a visual story of his experiences, good or bad, in the world. In his current exhibition, Fatties, Broghammer uses hummingbirds to tell uplifting stories of the lessons he’s learned from recent challenges. The show runs from September 11th through October 5th, 2021.
View the exhibition in our new location at 3220 Farnam St. #2101 in Midtown Crossing on the Northeast corner of 33rd and Farnam St. (in the former Hutch location). Free three-hour parking is available in the Midtown Crossings garage with validation. The Gallery is open Mon/Tue by appointment and Wed-Sat 10am-5:30pm.
Joe Broghammer obtained a B.F.A. from the University of South Dakota, Vermillion. He also completed graduate work at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He has exhibited his work in more than 100 group shows and has had solo exhibitions around the United States, Holland, Germany and Italy. His work is a part of museums, public and private collections.
